Please take something off my weight
The installation “Please take something off my weight” depicts the pressure of motherhood: the visible and invisible expectations that come with this role. A wooden frame represents a body that bends under the weight; porcelain symbolizes fragile burdens that are constantly being added. Placed outside, the work poses the question: where does societal pressure weigh more heavily? It is a tired gesture, an exclamation: I am still here. As a human being. As a maker. Not only as a mother.
Who will take something off this weight?

What you see is the burden.
What you take with you is my question.
